―What kind of change did you feel when you visited Hiroshima PARCO, a local area after a long absence?
The number of stores that were not when I lived about 10 years ago is increasing, and the times are progressing.
I am happy to realize that Hiroshima PARCO is evolving in line with the times and trends.
PARCO was the only commercial facility in Aiko Nic like Shibuya 109 in Hiroshima, so the meeting as a student was like "Hachi-ko Mae" and Hiroshima PARCO was the standard (laughs). I came to Hiroshima PARCO for the first time in a long time, and I felt a happy change because it included many brands like DIESEL and Calvin Klein. Not only Hiroshima PARCO but also SPINNS, which inspired me to work in Tokyo, is a memorable spot for me.

―Did your experience in Hiroshima lead to your activities in Tokyo?
Yes, based on my experience in Hiroshima, I have my current activities. Before moving to Tokyo, I worked as a shop staff at the apparel brand SPINNS, which had dominated the world at the time. Because I was a "SPINNS clerk", I did it without abandoning my own flashy style. But I think not only this experience but also various opportunities that I met in Hiroshima are creating my present self. Actually, I appeared on an audition program in Hiroshima and made my debut as a Boys group. I was disbanded immediately, but I was told that I could be a class student in Tokyo and decided to move to Tokyo. At that time, I was rushing to my heart with the desire to be famous.…。
I felt that I was floating in my style in Hiroshima, but I couldn't step into Tokyo. It was this kind of encounter in Hiroshima that inspired me at that time.
―Shopping at Hiroshima PARCO was a long time ago, but how did you visit DIESEL ACCESSORIES STORE, CASETiFY STUDiO and POKER FACE this time?
It's no exaggeration to say that DIESEL is the brand I bought last year, two years ago and the first one. It is a favorite brand that I have a lot of personal things. This time, I went to the DIESEL ACCESSORIES STORE of Hiroshima PARCO and was surprised by the abundant assortment and the lineup of new products that were more than I imagined. Hiroshima PARCO is an attractive shopping spot for young people living in Hiroshima. I'm very grateful to have DIESEL there.
I have always loved CASETiFY for a long time. It's durable and luxurious, and it's really convenient to have a mirror on your smartphone case. It's also good to be able to customize it with a charm or something. CASETiFY's stores are only Hiroshima PARCO in Shikoku and Chugoku regions. It seems to be fun to try it with friends and lovers, and when I actually visited the store, there were a lot of couples and I sent an envious look (laughs)
Finally, I love eyewear, so POKER FACE was very good. There were a lot of formal items, the assortment was good, and there were many high-quality items.

―Please tell us your impressions of visiting AINZ&TULPE and ROSEMARY, which opened in Hiroshima PARCO.
I was surprised that there were many brands that I thought were only in Tokyo and Korea. My family and acquaintances often say, "There is no brand that Gute introduces in Hiroshima," but I was surprised that AINZ&TULPE and ROSEMARY have everything! ROSEMARY is surprised that there are all kinds of cosmetics brand items in this season. There was even a cosmetics brand that I had never heard of before. One of the most pressing items I tried today is fwee lip and teak. It looks cute, and the texture is different from others. It is really recommended for quality that is different from other brands.
―How is cosmetics usually researched?
TikTok is the main one. Do you feel like you catch up with popular cosmetics information on the web and actually try it out? I often get cosmetics for work, so I try everything and find items that suit me. So if you look at the cosmetics introduction on SNS, it is recommended that you actually try it at a variety of stores such as AINZ&TULPE and ROSEMARY to find the item that suits you. It doesn't fit for individuals, but it's always there. I also try to go directly to the store to find something that fits my skin, so I thought it would be nice to have a store where a lot of items are gathered in this way.
―I usually wear a variety of makeup, but what was the reason why Gute started getting interested in makeup?
I loved Tong Vfang Xien Qi since I was 12 years old, and I was fascinated by one of the male members who wore makeup. When I had a complex for visuals, I knew that a man could make up and make it so nice, and I put it on my makeup and put it on SNS secretly. There was an honest feeling that there was no child wearing makeup around, so there was a feeling that "I shouldn't do it". However, when I was 18 years old, I studied abroad in Korea and started wearing makeup on a daily basis after being influenced by the culture that it is common for men to apply BB cream. There was a time when I went out with "white hair and black lip" (laughs). At first, I was wearing makeup for the purpose of "hiding the complex", but now I am enjoying makeup as a "process of self-expression".
―Finally, Gute is active in a wide range of fields from beauty to fashion, but if you have anything you want to challenge in the future or have any ambitions, please let us know!
I would like to expand my local activities in Hiroshima like this work. Surprisingly, there is not much work in Hiroshima.…。 I've never done it before, so I'd like to have a fan event in Hiroshima, and I think it would be very fun if I could have an ambassador for Hiroshima PARCO.
I also want to start working in fashion. Actually, I usually think about total styling based on clothes rather than makeup, and after deciding on clothes, I make makeup that I can't lose to it. So, in the future, I would like to take on the challenge of working in fashion.
And I want to make my own cosmetics products too. There is also an ambition to make items that have been particular about with zero compromises, so I'm glad if you look forward to my future activities.
