Drawing experience of dishes| Event report

2024.02.13
Hello everyone. MUJI Hiroshima Parco.

A nice vessel makes your meal time enjoyable and enriching your heart.
The other day, we invited ceramic artist Chisato Kobayakawa to hold a painting workshop.

Kobayakawa studied pottery in Saga and became independent in Akiota-cho, Hiroshima after working as an assistant in Hiroshima.
Living vessels are produced based on motifs such as living things and plants.

The dishes to be drawn are unglazed.
I will draw a sketch with brown paint.
Mr. Kobayakawa taught me how to use brushes and tips.

This time, Mr. Kobayakawa will bake and finish it at a later date, but when baked, the color seems to be a little pale and thin.
Everyone enjoyed drawing what they liked and what they liked.

I finished a lot of wonderful dishes.
All of them are full of sense and are very cute.

The texture of the grill also changes, and the atmosphere seems to change.
I'm looking forward to it.

On this day, a sales event for Mr. Kobayakawa's wonderful works was also held at the same time.
Many people came in the morning and it was very busy.
Everyone was buying vessels and accessories with a smile.

The color of the soft atmosphere and the cute pattern will unintentionally blow your face.
Mr. Kobayakawa likes horses and draws UMA on the back of the vessel.
I love that too.

It is said that solo exhibitions and workshops will be held in various places in the future.
Please pay attention to Mr. Kobayakawa's activities.

MUJI Hiroshima Parco holds events to interact with local residents.
From now on, fun events will be decided one after another.
Please come and experience the charm of Hiroshima.
