MUJI
Making original fan| Event report
2024.08.17
Hello everyone. MUJI Hiroshima Parco.
The other day, we welcomed Miho Shibata of Shoshisui and held a workshop on making fans.
Shoshisui is a store that is also a used bookstore and art gallery.
Shibata is also a calligrapher, and there is a Japanese calligraphy classroom at the shop.
On this day, a workshop to draw on a fan using a brush.
It's a performance that I practiced with a brush on half paper.
You can draw pictures, cut and paste origami or Japanese paper, or anything else.
Everyone seems to be very happy to draw with brushes that are not usually used.
And a lot of wonderful fans have been completed.
Everything is wonderful, including powerful cool things and things scattered with various pictures and colors.
Those who participated in the jump and overseas customers were also very curiously watching.
I felt again that the time to use the brush comfortably was also good.
It's too hot every day, but the fan drawn with ink is cool in appearance, and it's nice to decorate or use.
I would like you to share a fan with the world and survive this summer.
Sui Shoshi is a wonderful shop on the second floor of a hideaway building right next to the train stop in Tookaichi.
It's just a short tram from Hiroshima Parco, so please drop in.
MUJI Hiroshima Parco holds events to interact with local residents.
Please come and experience the charm of Hiroshima.
